Milesis , was born and raised in Piraeus, where he still lives today.
He is involved in the research of Piraeus History and is a member of the Institute of Piraeus Studies, the Piraeus Philological House and its General Secretary.
Since 2009 creator and administrator of the blog “Piraeus Panorama for History and Culture”. with the aim to exclusively study the local history of Piraeus.
His blog has received numerous visits.
He is a contributor to the weekly pirate newspaper “The Voice of the Piraeans” with a permanent column on issues of historical interest.

In 2013, in collaboration with the journalist and historian Dimitris Krasonikolakis, they jointly published a newspaper entitled “Piraeorama” which is the first newspaper in Piraeus that deals exclusively with local history issues.
Stefanos Milesis is also engaged in writing historical short stories and biographies, as well as in writing about ethnographic, urban folklore and literature.

In 2015, the ABEROF TH/K Floating Museum published a book entitled “1900” a product of intellectual work of the same and Panagiotis Tripontika, sponsored by the Hydrographic Service of the Navy. The book “1900” was for the Maritime Museum the first publication of a naval history short story since its foundation.
He has been involved in Scouting for years.
Apart from being a scout himself, he has been a member and Chairman of Social Support Committees and today he is the General Secretary of the Old Scouts Association of Neo Faliro.
He has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Medal of the Red Cross and the Old Scout Medal. He is married to Eva Boyatzi-Milesi and has two children Eleftheria and Panagiotis.
